Telesales ----- Corporation fail work around-VERY IMPORTANTOctober 7th, 2009
Please review the information below. We are seeing a high rate of credit failures. With this, the system is asking for additional un-necessary information. The information below is the temporary work around until the OneSource fix is in place.

As a reminder, we are now required to provide credit for any new services. This is regardless of the customer’s existing credit history with Verizon. The only time credit is not required is if you are adding or migrating service on an existing Verizon BTN.

We have recently uncovered an issue with One Source relating to the iCREDIT function. We have issued an IR to correct this, but in the interim please use the following work around when a FAIL result is received during the process of validating credit for a Corporation.

If you receive a PASS, it's business as usual.

When submitting a case into One Source for a Corporation, provide the following information in the credit information fields:
-Corporation name
-Chief Officer name(first and last)
-TAX ID (must be accurate)
-State of Incorporation
-Year of Incorporation


In the event of a FAIL result, you will be prompted to add the Chief officers DOB & SS#. This is not required for a Corporation under normal circumstances, hence the reason an IR has been issued.

we will notify you as soon as the IR has been worked and One Source has been updated. At that time will will provide a process flow that should be followed.


For Date of Birth (DOB), input any Date prior to today's date
For the SS# field put in 000-000-0000 (all zeros)
