The What’s Next site has been updated with enhancements.
Important Reminder: The URL http://www.verizon.net/whatsnext/ must be provided to ALL customers who subscribe to FiOS Internet and/or FiOS TV Service.
The What’s Next site brings several existing tools together into one comprehensive site allowing your customers to learn about items such as:
• Check Order Status for FiOS Internet and/or TV (also includes Broadband Essentials and Extras)
• Check My PC (obtain minimum and recommended computer system requirements)
• Scan & Clean (ensure customer’s PC is free of viruses and spyware prior to installation)
• Key reminders to ensure the customer is ready when our technician arrives
• Overview of the FiOS installation process
• Sample bill
The site has been enhanced with the following improvements:
• We now have comprehensive order status available for FiOS Internet, FiOS TV, or FiOS Internet/TV (double play) orders.
• We also provide customized installation information based on your customer's ONT type, so customers receive information specific to their installation for SFU ONT, MDU ONT with Ethernet, MDU ONT with VDSL, or existing ONT.
• Customers are also able to pre-select and pre-register their portal partner option (AOL, Yahoo, or MSN) on What's Next -- so this decision is already taken care of when the tech arrives.
• Customers can order Broadband Essentials & Extras services through What’s Next
Please ensure the “What’s Next” web site --- http://www.verizon.net/whatsnext/-- is provided to ALL customers that subscribe to FiOS Internet and/or TV Service.

A recent analysis of What's Next visitors showed that the What's Next cancel rate is 10.7%, compared to overall cancel rate of 17.6%.
